This website is a project for my Technical Writing course that I am currently taking at my college.

My goal with this project is to make a one-stop shop where anybody can learn how to access any Sonic game. Because there are quite a couple of Sonic games that do not have any official modern releases, typically the only way to play these games is either through owning the original copy of the game AND the original console(s) that the game was released on or through piracy. Due to gaming technology always evolving and not a lot of people always having retro gaming hardware, I want to make it easier for at least some people to be able to play and access these games.

To-do list

This is a to do list of things that I would like to do to this website. I want to make this list public so that way people can know what to expect is coming soon (and to also hold me accountable). This list is ordered from top priority to "I wanna do this, but it's not super important right now."

Figure out how to format photos (primarily on the main game and material pages) in a nice way
Find Shadow version of the Sonic background image (i swear it exists, i just can't seem to find it rn ;-; )
Add guides for every single mainline game up to Unleashed by mid March
Add relevent material and resource guides for said mainline games
Write an actual good about section
Rewrite some of the about sections for game's pages (Unleashed being an example needing a better written description)
~~Figure out how to space between paragraphs without each paragraph becoming a whole new box~~
Add custom fonts
Add some spinoff games into the games section by mid March if possible
Add custom cursor
Make homepage more interesting
Combine Light Mode and Dark mode on same pages with javascript (learned something new in Computer Science course, but this will have to probably wait until after my Technical Writing course is done since this will lead to a whole code rewrite
